Cybersecurity

Policies, practices and products are key to cybersecurity.  Get your policies right (we can help here), make sure you live up to those policies (we can really help here) and use best-in-class products to keep you on track.

The most common thing we find when we adopt a new client, is that they believe the burden of creating policies and then monitoring what goes on in the organisation is onerous.  It needn’t be; they have just not partnered with a Managed Service Provider (that’s us, BTW), who can make it all happen.

Once you have your policies in place and you have a partner to ensure what goes on in your organisation is consistent with your policies, you are no longer low-lying fruit to the cyber-crime industry.

Best in class tools for malware and email protections against ransomware, while training and testing your staff are all part of the process.  Your network will need to be scanned regularly for vulnerabilities, and it is a good idea to do regular Penetration Testing.

Even the most secure environments have robust and tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.  Should a problem arise, there is nothing more reassuring than a recent DR test.
